Dr. Kanaan : Duke Medicine Trained Physician

Originally raised in Raleigh, NC, Dr. Kanaan is a board certified nonsurgical orthopedic/ sports medicine physician and advanced regenerative specialist who received his medical residency training at Duke Medical Center. During his fellowship training at Duke Sports Medicine, Dr. K received special instruction in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound – a unique, state-of-the-art technology in the orthopedic field. While completing training in Nonsurgical Orthopedics, Dr. K served as an assistant team physician for Duke Football, Basketball, and Lacrosse, as well as assisting with Elon University Football.  Dr. Kanaan started Wake Nonsurgical Ortho in 2013 and has since performed over 10,000 PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and Stem Cell injections.
